UK BEFFTA Awards winning photographer KENNETH ASIA promoting photography in Nigeria

Kenneth Asia is a Nigerian professional photographer who is passionately defining his life. Born and grew up in  Nigeria where he had his primary,secondary and tertiary education. He studied statistics at the Kaduna state polytechnic after which,he we went to the UK for further studies,where he studied business skills and management. But,later went on for further training in order to become a professional make-up artist and photographer. He has been enjoying every moment of His life in the entertainment industry globally.
Kenneth Asia,has worked as a freelance photographer and with some of the Big names in the UK fashion industry,taking his stand in most of the biggest fashion shows in Europe. such as The London fashion week,Paris Fashion week,Essex Fashion week,Beauty pageants,Movie premieres,and red-carpet coverage.
He has also pioneered several fashion and celebrity magazines in Nigeria,UK and France. Numerous nominations and major awards he has won,such as BEFFTA awards UK as THE BRITISH BEST BLACK PHOTOGRAPHER 2010/2011.
He recently opened a branch of his multimedia company in Nigeria called FOTOPROMOTE involved in photography,videos,fashion shows,movies,modelling,promotions,events and general entertainments.
In His words,"entertainment has given me perfect platform to be able to passionately express my creativity" He says that Nollywood has come of age and has broken through into the mainstream and big screens,Kudos to the Nigerian movie producers who are dedicated to producing quality films ensuring that standard is not eschewed. This has made Nollywood stand tall amongst its competitors such ad Hollywood and Bollywood.
 people say these days that everyone is a potential photographer courtesy of smartphones and other quick gadgets,this is the reason why people rarely walk into photo studios for a photo-session. Kenneth Asia,a Nigerian-born UK trained photographer frowns at such,saying that smartphones can never take the place of professional photography,especially interns of creativity,composition,flexibility,resolutions and many more. He believes that photography is an art that goes beyond just making quick money.
Kenneth Asia,is happily married to a wonderful woman who has been very supportive in His life and they have two lovely daughters. He believes that been a photographer is no license to sleep with female models as some guys in the field do, saying that there are other important activities that should occupy the mind of a successful photographer. They say there is a thousand story behind a picture.
Covering The London fashion week ,and maiden edition of The African fashion week UK gave Kenneth Asia some special uniqueness. He arrived Nigeria in march 2014 to meet with the Governor of Imo state,Owelle Rochas Okorocha during a courtesy visit of Miss Black Africa UK Beauty Queen's visit to imo state. The crew has long returned but Kenneth Asia is in love with what he sees in Nigeria. He sees that Nigeria is a country with a bright future and says he wants to be part of the success story of His home country.
He has this to say to the youngsters aspiring to become professionals in the field of photography "Photography is big business. be passionate about it,be patient,persistent and optimistic, remembering that what is worth doing at all is worth doing well." Kenneth Asia,though lived and earned his big reputation in the UK,FRANCE and AMERICA, says there is just no place like home.
