UKWA PEOPLE APPLAUD GOV. OTTI FOR THE COMPLETION OF ASA CIVIC CENTER OBEHIE

 It is no news that His Excellency Dr. Alex Ortiz, the Executive Governor of Abia state is a man who has the interest of Ukwa people. His leadership style is worthy of being emulated. 


For over a decade, ASA DEVELOPMENT UNION CIVIC CENTER OBEHIE ASA had been abandoned and left with no hope of completion being the first ever socio-cultural and multi-purpose center in the whole of Ukwa land. 

The most common cry of Ndi-ASA was that of the region being neglected by past administrations and all thought that emergence of Dr. ALEX CHIOMA OTTI would not make any difference, this shows the extent of trauma and faithless had been subjected to before now.  

Thanks to the beacon of hope,DR ALEX CHIOMA OTTI OFR the Executive Governor of Abia State For bringing this seemingly dead dream back to life and allaying the fears and worries of Ndi-ASA by recognizing some key stakeholders to work the path of progressive developmental strides with.



In just less than three years in office, Abia state has experienced commendable transformation spread across several LGAs. 

Hence the Ukwa land are pleased with the Governor's performance and the retention of the Undergraduate scholarships scheme at Abia State University Uturu where many Indigenes of Asa are beneficiaries.

 However, the good people of Ukwa-land still believe and hope that they will like others be privy to some basic social amenities to aid their daily living. In other LGAs,Educational facilities have been revamped also to aid learning, health care centers which turned

into graveyards(allegorically) are also now being revived to cut down the number of avoidable deaths but Ukwa still needs attention in such regards.
